Menox Hand Controls

The Menox Hand Control is specifically designed to give physically limited drivers the benefit of control and ease when driving a vehicle.  Driving becomes an easy and enjoyable experience with Menox.  The Menox Hand Control is designed to be used by the right hand as in traditional shifting.  

The Hand Control operates in one straight and ergonomic range of motion so that accelerating and braking are distinctive and easy to use in the flow of traffic.  Pushing forward engages the brake and easing back accelerates.

Thanks to Menox’s advanced design, each control is ergonomic, conforming to a person’s natural hand-wrist arm motion.  The function buttons are situated in a  logical safe place and engineering has simplified the range of the Menox Hand Control; pushing forward to brake, pulling back to accelerate.  

Each Menox handle comes fitted with a logical brake latch to hold the brake pedal down.  In this way, hands are freed at traffic lights to change gears or tune the radio.  Cruise Control and the horn can be operated from this same rocker switch.  An optional Gas pedal holder frees the hand reducing muscle fatigue and allowing the driver to concentrate on driving, improving traffic safety significantly when driving at highway speed.  

Menox’s design is simple, and durable.  Minimal hardware is needed for Menox installation, leaving the driver with extensive leg room.  Likewise, Menox does not prevent the use of knee-air bags in the future.  With no protruding bars or bolts, access in and out of the car is trouble-free.  

Menox Hand Controls are designed to compliment all vehicle interiors.  From our product selection, you will find suitable colors for sedans, vans, and sports cars. We’re event able to match the color of a collector cars upholstery.  This allows the Menox hand controls to go unnoticed because it  blends into the Car’s interior design.

MPS HAND CONTROLS  

Better Life Mobility is proud to be an authorized dealer of MPS Hand Controls.  The MPS-1A is often recommended by rehabilitation driving specialists because it uses a natural method for brake and accelerator movement.  It is almost a “must” for a person with severe hand and wrist weakness.

The MPS Monarch-1A is a smooth operator, offering miles and miles of relaxed driving.  The brake is applied by pushing the operating handle toward the brake pedal.  Moving the handle toward the drivers seat activates the accelerator.  The brake and accelerator may be operated separately or simultaneously.  Installation of the MSP-1A requires a minimum modification to the vehicle.  It may be used for either right or left hand operation.  It does require an automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes.
